Hello everyone,
Do any of you have low self esteem? I personally think we all might feel this way at times. It might be fine to feel this way sometimes; but these thoughts can inhibit your personal and professional growth.
We talked some about this type of personal growth when I posted SELF-CONFIDENCE: How to Improve.
http://globaldialoguecenter.blogs.com/disabilities/2006/04/selfconfidence_.html
Since that discussion we have learned some and maybe some have had challenges and we need to re-focus.
You may have been through and continue to have challenging times that may make positive self esteem seem like an unobtainable goal.
To get the best out of life we need to be confident in our actions.
One way to help with gaining confidence is not to let negative thoughts run through your mind constantly. Soon, you might start to believe these negative thoughts. These thoughts are like a bad habit; they will take root like weeds in a flower garden and spread by themselves. Soon they will choke out the flowers of positive thoughts in your garden of life.
Do not focus on your shortcomings. Focus on your positive attributes. Believe in yourself Just like those negative thoughts growing into reality; these positive thoughts will do the same.
If you do not have confidence now just remember it is not how we start what matters, it is how we finish.
Even if others talk to you negatively, listen to your inner encouraging voice to pursue. Let hurtful and difficult things go so you can move forward. Work on feeling good about yourself. You deserve it!
Some points to remember
• Do not walk into a room feeling insecure. Develop a habit about being positive.
• Be confident in your actions.
• Change starts on the inside. Keep the positive thoughts in and the negative ones out. .
• Wake up with the thought that you are going to have a great day
• You may have been through and continue to have challenging times. Do not ponder on these negatives.
• Do not focus on your shortcomings.
• Keep a positive big vision in your life. You are worth it!
Does anyone else have any tips to help us with low self esteem? Any ideas to have better confidence in our actions? Does anyone have a story they want to share with us that talks about how you may have over come these challenges.
I look forward to hearing from you.
