I was recently asked about my thoughts on what we are all witnessing in Middle East and how it relates to what I wrote in my book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man? I wanted to share my response:
Israel is not what it appears. The Jewish people there are told that this is about a Jewish state but in fact they are being exploited as our surrogates. Israel is basically our armed fortress in the middle of Arab oil fields. We use the religious argument as such arguments have always been used -- to dupe the innocent while the emperors expand their empires.

The "Old Guard" has been ruling Israel since the country's founding sixty years ago. The icons of the new state came from the Irgun and the Hagana.
At the same time we had John Wayne, Audie Murphy and the "men who raised the flag on Iwo Jima "
We have replaced our icons many times over and the "Old Guard" (Eisenhower, Macarthur & FDR) have long since been replaced by JFK, Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan - "the peacemakers".
It's time for the Israeli "Old Guard" to let go. Bury the Holocaust and work for peace.
