"Success is a journey, not a destination. Half the fun is getting there."
Gita Bellin
When Gita speaks about success in the above quote as being a journey not a destination she inspires me to remember that my life is the journey, not just the end result. When we realize that half the fun of gaining success can lie on the road that we travel, we allow ourselves to live more fully. I think the art in really understanding Gita’s thinking lies in our ability to not be over serious and to allow ourselves joy on a daily basis. When we lose our ability to be playful and to appreciate our lives daily, we lose our ability to live fully and we remove ourselves from our ability to achieve full success. A couple of questions:
- What success do you wish to hold now in your life?
- How can you live your life more fully with more joy as you achieve great success?
- Where can play enter in to your life?
