“The ancestor of every action is a thought.”
Emerson
It is fascinating to think that the power of attraction and the power of our thoughts have been acknowledged throughout history (and herstory). Today we have great teachers such as Jerry and Esther Hicks who speak about the work of Abraham—teachings of the Ancient Universal Laws of Attraction. Oprah, Larry King, and many others have shown a strong interest in a new film entitled “The Secret”. All of these amazing works point us in one direction—our thoughts direct our every action. I am beginning to believe that this is a simple concept thst may now be one of the greatest collective conscience teachings of our time.
So, what if we were really to integrate this thought into our daily lives—the thought that the mind rules our actions. How would things be different? We may begin to choose our thoughts carefully. We may begin to choose thoughts that were in alignment with how we wanted our lives to be lived. We may begin to think about the thoughts that we hold for other people that may be damaging or destructive and how they could be transformed into more caring or compassionate thoughts.
The power is ours to make these decisions.
Take a look at your thoughts currently. What are they? How could they more closely reflect the day that you want to create?
