It seems that life is a series of comings and goings. A constant changing flow of happenings. I remember watching my mother grasp on it tightly --- so scared and fearful to let go. Interestingly, my life took a different pattern. Not that I wanted it that way necessarily, but for reasons beyond my control --- and in my control --- life was a whirlwind of changes, hellos and good-byes, happiness and sadness when I was making my way. I'm imagining that many of you could recount a similar restless, chaotic times or maybe that's where you are right now. The good that came from it was a small miracle of sorts as I look back in reflection, because it helped me practice the act of letting go --- learning to welcome and trust the unknown. For this I am grateful.
On my desk, I have one of the boxed card decks of THE FOUR AGREEMENTS by Don Miguel Ruiz. I love to open it to see what wisdom I am to take in. The top card today explains my reason for being grateful for all the changes I never expected --- even when they might have ripped my heart and soul out by their roots at the time ---- because with each one, came a corresponding period of renewal and growth --- it always seemed to leave an opening for a new dream to form and come true. Today's card said:
"Whatever life takes away from you, let it go. When you surrender and let go of the past, you allow yourself to be fully alive in the moment. Letting go of the past means that you can enjoy the dream that is happening right now."
Is there something in your life calling you to let go?
What new dream are you holding back because of it?

Thank you for sharing this wonderful message about letting go...I was thinking about renewal today and the connection between the two. You have to let go to have the space to "renew" and "revitalize"... and move forward. My neighbors are moving, and they have been so joyfully going through their garage and prepping for a "yard sale" - you can feel their delight of having a new beginning and letting go of their old "stuff". It is so uplifting to have the chance to make a new start...but as you reminded us, we have to be willing to let go. Time to go clean out a "mental" closet or two! Thanks again for the post.

Dear Debby,
Thank you for taking the time to write to share your perspective about the space we need to renew and revitalize ourselves. Your story about your neighbors really brought the idea of letting go to life.
I've had a practice for quite a few years of "cleaning out the cludder" in my house and office two times a year. It always surprises me how much cludder gets accumulated ---- and how good it feels to clear out all the excess, share with others and clean the "dust" in all the my corners of my life. Physically, I can feel the difference when it is finished. There is an openness --- an energy that is free.
A friend one time told me that she loved to clear out her files in her office, because it created space for new customers and new projects and new opportunities to be welcomed. I also found this to be true.
Thank you for taking the thinking another step farther!

Dear Debbe,
Thanks for this. Like many of you I have had to let-go many times in my life in so many ways. As we let-go we become lighter and emptier of baggage, and that new "space" within us, can be replaced by positive thoughts and love. It is such a liberating feeling. One of ownership of one's own mind and body, especially when the letting-go has been so internal. We become more able to discern what we need to release as we travel this road and become open to it. Once there was pain and fear in letting-go, as even a place of fear can be the only security one knows. Then finally freedom appears and we never look back. Our letting-go becomes a sacred, cleansing and rebirth. In the middle of a painful experience we now know that we can let it all go and become alive once more.

I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

Excellent blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

The key reason why the standard coffee beans most of the people are acquainted with are black in color is basically because these beans have already been roasted around 475 degrees Fahrenheit. As a first step towards going green, perform a thorough green audit. rather than standards because every roaster I have met on earth, including myself has a different view of what coffee beans in a light, dark and everything in between are.

The latter probably sounds a much more beneficial method to reaching your weight loss targets, particularly when you initially embark on your new weight-loss program as you teem with resolution and enthusiasm, but is it the most effective method. There is usually a bit of truth in there, HCA can react well with your body, may help lose the weight; however best things come with a little bit of work. This could also be an option for overweight people, organic food is known to be less calories than processed food products.
