The White House Project has officially trained over 1,000 women to join the political pipeline!
In a recent newsletter they wrote:
“At our first New York-based Go Run political leadership training ,we had a fantastic turnout, hosting 85 women, some of whom traveled all the way from California, Florida and Texas! Women ages 18-65 found that they are part of a larger community of women that wants to have a greater role in leadership and politics. They all felt inspired”.
Women who attended the training said:
“I recently took a job on Capitol Hill. I walk into a room and it's men, men, men, men, men, and men. So it's inspiring to be here in a room full of women talking about the issues. I'm not going to run for office again for a couple of years, but I'm here to learn more about what I need to do between now and then, so when a door opens itself - or I kick the door in - I'll be ready.”

It always inspires me when I think of women holding equal political office status to men. Women offer a different view of the world and what it needs. When I received this newsletter, it made me think off how many wonderful things are actually happening at this minute that contribute to us reaching more equalization in the world. Many –many women are focused on this issue because we know that when balance is reached in decision-making—the world will be more compassionate –caring and balanced.
